Moving swiftly into Kent, we visited two neighboring organisations in Margate, the first of which is Limbo.
We interviewed Paul Hazelton from Limbo, an artist run space based in a disused electricity substation building. Limbo was an initiative of two artists with a passion for the area and the arts. Their vision, part of a wider initiative to regenerate the area through the arts, was to create a resource in Margate complimentary to other locally based arts organisations, providing affordable artist studios, a gallery/project space and a programme of exhibitions, artist residencies, events and off-site projects.
